Harddrive - /harddrive'/  1.  Mass storage media for computers.  2.  New York to L.A. with no bathroom
stops.

Speaker - /spee'ker/  1.  Sound output device for computers and stereos.  2.  Senators cure for
insomnia.

Token Ring - /to'ken ring/  1.  Type of network linkup between computers.  2.  "What have I got in my
pocket?"  "It cheatsss my Presscious!"

FAT - /fat/  1.  File Allocation Table.  2.  see also Rosanne Barr-Arnold.

DirectX - /die'rect ex/   1.  Drivers used for directly accessing video and audio hardware to allow
faster multimedia.  2.  Questionable material that is delivered directly to you door in a brown plain
wrapper.

Multimedia - /mul tee mee' dee a/ 1.  Video and sound in computers.  2.  Listening to the game on the
radio while watching the news on TV.

Driver - /dry'ver/  1.  Software for interfacing with a peice of hardware.  2.  Farthest hitting club in
golf.  3.  Person designated to drink cokes instead of beers.

HAL - /hal/  1.  Hardware Application Layer  2.  "Are you trying to shut me down Dave?  Dave?"

Start Menu /start men' you/  1.  Windows Explorer's menu program to execute programs.  2.  The small
menu to pick your appetizers from.

WEB - /web/ 1.  A method of graphically browsing the internet.  2.  ducks feet.

Joystick - /joi steek'/  1.  Intput controller for computer, esp. for games.  2.  Questionable material
that is delivered directly to you door in a brown plain wrapper.

MS Bob - /say'tan/  1.  a virus.  2.  see also def 1.

Mouse - /mouws'/  1.  Input pointer device for computers.  2.  Not a go pedal.

Windows - /win'doze/  1.  Graphical User Interface for making access to your computer easier.  2.  A
diabolical plan by a lab mouse to take over the world.

GUI - /goo ee'/  1.  Graphical User Interface.  2.  Did you step in that?

Unix - /you'nicks/  1.  Type of operating system.  2.  Egyption slave.

Virus - /bob/  1.  diabolical program designed by a lab mouse to take over your computer.  2.  see also

CPU - /see'pee you/  1.  Central Processing Unit.  2.  A visible foul odor.
